Cloudlaya performed a deep cost and architecture review using the AWS Well-Architected Framework. The solution focused on intelligent automation, right-sizing, and governance.

  • Compute Optimization: Migrated Transited On-Demand EC2 workloads to Reserved and Spot Instances as per AWS Compute Optimizer recommendations. Implemented Auto Scaling groups to align use and demand.
  • Storage Tiering: Migrated less-frequently used data to S3 Intelligent-Tiering and Glacier. Applied S3 lifecycle policies to manage object retention.
  • Serverless Refactor: AWS Lambda was instrumental in refactoring Progressive Labs’ infrastructure, enabling us to have a serverless architecture that reduced overhead and improved scalability.
  • Event-Driven Data Processing: Leveraged Lambda to forward and process Amazon Kinesis data streams for real-time analytics.

 

  • Scheduled Maintenance Tasks: Leveraged Lambda for snapshot creation and log rotation with minimal manual intervention.

  •   Enabled AWS Budgets and Cost Anomaly Detection.
